How to Change PLDT Wi-Fi Password?

 To change your PLDT Wi-Fi password:

  1. Connect to your PLDT Wi-Fi network.
  2. Open a browser and go to https://192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.1.1).

  3. Log in to your router. Common default credentials are:

    • Username: admin
    • Password: 1234

    (Some newer routers use credentials printed on the sticker at the back or bottom of the modem.)

  4. Go to Wireless LAN (WLAN) Settings → Security.
  5. Find Pre-shared Key, Passphrase, or Wi-Fi Password.
  6. Enter your new Wi-Fi password.
  7. Click Apply, Save, or Apply Changes.

If 192.168.1.1 doesn't work

  • Check your router's default gateway using ipconfig on Windows.
  • Some PLDT devices use different gateway addresses.

If you forgot the admin password

You may need to use the credentials on the router label or perform a factory reset. Some users report that newer PLDT routers require changing the default admin password during the first login.
